Patriotism

Patriotism means love of homeland. This nature is found in every human being. The word patriotism is as lovely as the word homeland and the meaning of this is equally broad.

The homeland is like a mother, who is always there. The homeland is the area where man's loved ones lived, where he played when he was young, then why should he be not attached to this land? Wherever a person steps outside the country, he is known only by his homeland. When a person is away from his homeland, he is reminded of one thing in his homeland that is people of his homeland, do not forget the language, climate, spices and food.

وطن کی خاک سے مر کر بھی ہم کو انس باقی  ہے

مزا  دامان  مادر  کا  ہے  اس مٹی  کے  دامن  میں

We still love to the dust of our homeland even if we died

The taste of the mother’s lap is in the clay of our beloved homeland

No matter how many people of color and race you will find in every corner and direction of the country, but outrage from any one of them makes human patriotism impossible, because patriotism means loving to each and everything in one’s homeland, which includes loving our fellow countrymen.

دلوں میں حب وطن ہے اگر تو ایک رہو

نکھارنا   یہ  چمن  ہے  اگر  تو  ایک  رہو

If you have love for the Homeland, then be united as one

If you wish to keep this garden as clean, then be united as one

The thorn of the homeland is more beautiful than the flowers of Pardes (a foreign country). The memory of the homeland is depicted in the heart of a human being that is not lost all the time and he miss it every moment. Its doors, its windows, its ceilings, its hallways, its staircase and its dimensions remain forever in mind. The streets in which a child plays that memory never goes away from his mind.

The memories of childhood are more lasting and more joyful than all memories. The amount of attachment with childhood friends is greater than the love with siblings.

The love of the country should be the highest purpose of human life. The lovers of the country do not want any reward. They sacrifice personal gains and benefits for the welfare of their homeland. The love of homeland is the passion with which every little one is dedicated and plays on his soul.  This pure emotion is bestowed by nature.

Religion Islam teaches patriotism as the hadith says that “loving your country is faith". That is, love of homeland is part of faith.  It is as if a person is deprived of patriotism is a factor in a person's faith.

Humans are naturally infused with everything in the homeland. No matter how attractive the sight in Pardes (foreign country) may be, or how much comfort is available, a person can never forget the homeland. I have personally been employed in the Foreign Country for decades. Although my salary and life were very prosperous in all respects, but my heart was always sad in the memory of the country. And when I visit my homeland on annual holidays, my tears would drop in my face as I left the airport, and it would have been difficult for me to face the visiting brothers and sisters.

The patriot is culturally and thoughtfully connected to his country and nation and is always ready to make all kinds of sacrifices for the survival of his country and nation. Patriotism also has a partial ideology on which a country is formed, for example if a Pakistani person loves his country based on the theory that: "Pakistan is an Islamic state that is based on a two-nation ideology. The purpose of Pakistan's establishment is to empower Muslims on our land, protect our culture and carry out religious acts without fear."

We must create a patriotism within ourselves that will make us a united and strong nation that drives the wave of life within us. Only then can we achieve the purpose for which millions of Muslims have sacrificed their lives and property.

اے  اہل وطن شام و سحر جاگتے رہنا

اغیار   ہیں   آمادۂ  شر  جاگتے  رہنا

O my people stay awake evenings and mornings

Rivals are prepared to trouble us, stay awake

Pakistan gave us a recognition, respect and fame. Seven decades of independence passed what we contributed to Pakistan?

If every Pakistani who loves his homeland and his nation, where he takes his personal and family responsibilities, similarly he should try his best for his country for its cleanliness, its development, its prosperity and its stability. 

We should not leave everything to the government, but we must do something for the integrity, stability and development of our country individually.

For the welfare of Pakistan, we must contribute our share for the welfare of the people at the local level with the help of our colleagues. And wherever you see an evil or an error that could cause suffering to the public, seek immediate relief through Public Welfare. And those who spread chaos in the country and nation, Inform the relevant authorities for their elimination.

In the event of an accident, be quick to act with your understanding and help people save their lives and property.

Each Pakistani should keep a list of various welfare departments, hospitals, police and other emergency numbers in order to get immediate assistance when needed.
