Rights of Allah’s Servants
Haqooq Al-Ibbad (حقوق العباد) Rights of Allah’s Servants means the rights of human beings. These rights include parents, children, wives, relatives, orphans, the meek, the traveler, the needy, the neighbor, the beggars, the prisoner's rights, and the broader concept of collective and social rights.
Islam guarantees the protection and care of five things for humanity. Protecting lives, protecting wealth, protecting honor, protecting religion and protecting offspring. Reflecting on these, it will show that Islam arranges for the protection of human life, its wealth, its honor, its religion and its race.
In today's world, there is no one who has no protest, grudge and complaint with others. These doubts are causing cracks in the strong walls of relationships. Gardens of mutual relationships are burning, bonds are weakening. Cold seals are creeping in attitudes. Wrinkles on the forehead are beginning to settle.
Has anyone ever tried to find out what the cause of all this was? Why is bitterness poisoning in the veins instead of the sweetness of love? Those who were sharing happiness, why they are now carrying on the sad stuff?
If you look at society, the only reason for all such matters comes up is that “not to pay one's right or to take away someone's right”. Because in today's world this philosophy has been embedded in the mind of everyone not to give the right to others and to give up their right. This attitude is the root of all corruption.
According to the Islamic teaching, the fulfillment of human rights to the people in true spirits is an integral part of the Islamic system. And depriving them of these rights can lead to the deterioration of society on the one hand and the displeasure of Allah on the other.
Islam is the only religion in the world that has individually set the right of every individual in the society in order to train every human being through rights and duties. We should not kill the rights of any human being, because the sins of the violator cannot be exempted from offering prayers, performing Hajj or fasting.
کچھ کام نہ آئیں گی نمازیں بھی سر محشر
انسان نہ چاہے تو خدا بھی معاف کر نہیں سکتا
The prayers will not be of any use, on the day of judgement
If an aggrieved man does not want to forgive then the God will not pardon us
Paying the rights is the virtue of the righteous. On the Day of Judgment, not only the rights of Allah such as fasting, prayer, zakat, Hajj, etc. will be calculated, but the rights of the people will also be calculated. Being guilty of Allah is not as dangerous as threatening the rights of human beings.
The most important member in human society is the family and the most important of the family is the parent. After the parents are given the status of the rights of their relative and close ones. Then as human society's relationships expand, so does the universal, and all the creatures in the universe begin to have a pleasant relationship. The least right for everyone is sweet talk.
A long list of rights for each of the categories can be drawn, but what is most emphasized in the divine rules and revelation of Allah, where favor and good behavior towards parents is mentioned in detail. In this the Tongue has a primacy and it is said: "Don't realize any of these two parents an unpleasant expression (Uff). But say good things to them.” Consider the teachings of these verses.
The first two things that are forbidden have to do with language. Don't realize an unpleasant express (uff). Rather talk to them gently. Gentleness is also whereby mercy extends to faith, love and compassion. This is because older parents need to be the most vocal in this old age. As far as their material needs are concerned, even if the offspring do not fulfill, then the Lord of the universe will arrange for them (parents) as long as they have to live in this world.
For offspring, the most important thing about parents is to behave patiently, do not bother with them, and not be perturbed by the disorders of their old age, but to entertain them with sweet words. Establish confidence, shine a ray of hope, and make them content. The Lord gave this general education to his people. He said: "And talk to people in a good way".
The disbursement of the rights of people removes the deprivation of man and creates an atmosphere of mutual love and unity. In this way the jealousy ends. It is important to note that not only should each person speak about his rights but also recognize his duties. In this way, maintain a proper balance between rights and duties, so that no one is deprived of their rights and no one is inclined to extremism as a victim of deprivation.
Human Rights have financial rights as well as moral rights. The Qur'an has defined the boundaries again and again and termed it as a component of faith.
In case of any negligence, laziness or fluctuation (less or more) in disbursement of human right; then Allah Almighty will not forgive the person until that time unless the concerned person forgives by himself.
By killing the rights of God's persons; goodness cannot be taken from God
As Muslims we should pay more attention to the rights of Allah’s Servants.
