Viaticum

Viaticum (زادِ راہ) means a money for a journey, provision for a journey, luggage for a journey and an allowance for a journey.

There are different ways to perform each task, and so are the accessories for each task, every journey, every process.

There are some tasks that need to be prepared before they are performed. Such as solving a problem in a room test. It takes a long time to prepare a solution. Attendance is made every day in the classroom, homework is done every day, and then quarterly exams are prepared, as well as a yearning for sports and other engagements are dropped for the annual exams, with full attention and inspiration. When a student is ready, a student is able to solve the problem in the classroom exam.

Likewise, if your journey is very difficult and terrible, you will need to find a way to make the journey comfortable and successful. As you will need a strong and long boots, the pants and shirt are also made of strong cotton fabric. Goggles for eyes, you will need a hat to protect your life and head from sun and dust. Lighters or matches for burning fires, flashlights for traveling in the dark, a knife for cutting fruits, vegetables and more, glasses for drinking water, utensils and plates for eating. And maybe a number of wooden rods will be needed to tackle the bloody animals and other dangers.

If one has to become a doctor or engineer, then the path to it will be different. It should be remembered that the higher the objective, the stronger the Viaticum (زادِ راہ) will be.  Not only that, along with the Viaticum, honest intention, continuous hard work, genuine dedication, love for education and seriousness in purpose are essential.

The Viaticum is the essence of achieving any journey or work that can help you achieve your goal.

The Viaticum are accessories that not only distract you from your purpose, but also prove to be the key to your goal.

A human being should consider in a comprehensive manner the units for the task to be performed before taking any action.  And whatever stuff is needed, that must be carefully taken care of and don’t ignore the viaticum. And wherever the viaticum is needed, use it in a gentle way so that the results can be achieved.

This world is the home of facts and truths for those who recognize its reality, it is a happy home to those who understand it well. Here who works wisely is destined to succeed.

The life of a Muslim in this world is a test and who successfully qualify, he will be entitled to Paradise, and God forbid, who fails because of his negligence, inadequacy and misunderstanding, the consequences of that will be horrible and painful.

A wise, inquisitive and caring human being, for a successful life, keeps with him such an arrangement for Viaticum which can help him to live proudly in this world and succeed in the Hereafter.

کوئی  گلاب  مرے  راستے میں رکھ دینا

The worldly life is the cultivation of our next life. What we sow here will reap in the hereafter. This life is a blessing, an opportunity in which we can not only succeed by our character, our actions and our knowledge, but also can contribute to the success of many other human beings in this world and the hereafter.

Just as we keep the necessary accessories with us in other matters. Similarly, we must accumulate the appropriate viaticum and utilize for ensuring success in this life.

To succeed in this life, we must first strengthen our faith in God.  After that, we have to follow the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his good examples. Thirdly, the commands of Allah have to be incorporated into our lives, so that we do not deviate from the purpose of our lives.  The fourth word is to raise the voice of truth, so that no one can kill the right of our partners or ourselves.  Fifth purity, cleanliness, brotherhood, truth and forgiveness must always be adopted, in order to get closer to God. The sixth piety has to be vigorous because piety helps to save a person from evil and gives good thoughts and motivates the good.

Allah has taught us through his book the Holy Quran (کتاب مبین) and through the teachings of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) that if we comply with these two great source of guidance, we can succeed in the Hereafter.

عزم  سفر  تو  ملک  عدم  کا ہے اے قلقؔ

کچھ اپنے ساتھ لے بھی چلے زاد راہ آپ
